Catch Every Update, Anytime, Anywhere
Prabsukhan Singh Gill – 6/10
Gill played in the high-voltage ACL Two clash against Al-Shorta but he was not at his personal best tonight against the Iraqi club and ended up conceding 3 goals.
While the defence should be held equally responsible, Prabhsukhan Singh Gill could have done better between the sticks.
Anwar Ali – 6.5/10

Anwar showed the intent to get involved, showed pace and helped to maintain the basic structure, but struggled to keep his shape as there was lack of support from his fellow teammates in the defence line mainly from Diego Zivulic and thus East Bengal were punished thrice.
Diego Zivulic – 5.5/10
Diego Zivulic looked absolutely out of touch tonight against Al-Shorta. Zivulic was unable to contribute offensively.
He did not look comfortable defensively either, with the Al-Shorta attackers outclassing him during the counterattacks and corner kicks.
Hardik Bhatt – 6/10
He was also involved in both the goals scored by East Bengal but was unable to give proper support to his fellow teammates in the backline and East Bengal were punished thrice.
He failed to control the ball in the flanks but other than that, he was quite good in patches. In the latter half of the game, he was replaced by Bipin Singh.
Lalchungnunga- 6.5/10
Lalchungnunga was quite decent at the back for the Torchbearers but again there was lack of support from Hardik Bhatt and Diego Zivulic.
Much was expected from the experienced defender, but he lacked the quality tonight and had an average outing.
Jay Gupta- 6/10
Jay Gupta was functional in attack and disciplined as well. He kept the flanks under control and often kept possession, contributing to the team’s overall structure.
But was not at sublime touch which was needed from him.
Jeakson Singh – 5.5/10
Jeakson Singh was not operating at his best tonight and looked completely out of place in the midfield.
He was unable to operate smoothly in the midfield and was outclassed by the Al-Shorta attackers.
Mohammed Basim Rashid – 6/10

Rashid was very much effective on the field today and once again proved why he is the best recruit for East Bengal in the midfield in the recent past.
The captain was leading from the front, but his teammates will need to support him more to get some more positive results in the upcoming matches.
Throughout the match, he remained a constant threat with his intelligent movement and positioning, often finding chances. He was involved in the second goal of East Bengal, but missed few chances of scoring too.
Daniel Ramirez Fernandez – 8/10

Dani Ramirez was one of the best players for the Torchbearers along with David despite the 2-3 disappointing defeat. Ramirez was also involved in both the goals that were scored by East Bengal.
Later on he was substituted by Ake Loba in the second half.
Edmund Lalrindika – 6.5/10
He missed some easy chances in the first half of the game.
Edmund was quick on the flanks and attacking line. He attempted to break the Al-Shorta defence but failed to deliver.
David Lalhlansanga – 8/10

David was one of the standout performers for East Bengal in the ACL Two clash against Al-Shorta. Scored a brace and was constantly testing the Al-Shorta goalie. His few shots were saved too, and he missed out on some sitters as well.
He completed his brace with a right-footed finish from close range, slotting the ball into the centre of the goal. Mohammed Rashid provided the assist following a set-piece situation.
Substitutes
Bipin Singh- 5.5/10
Bipin as such had no impact on the game after coming as a substitute in the second half in place of Hardik Bhatt.
He was imposed by Habas in the flanks to put some extra pressure on the Al-Shorta defence but it didn’t click in East Bengal’s favour today.
Lukasz Zwolinski- 5.5/10
Lukasz Zwolinski had his moments and was proactive after coming onto the field but couldn’t deliver what was expected from him.
Although few of his shots were saved by Jalal Hassan, the Al-Shorta goalie.
Ake Loba- N/A
Ake Loba came off the bench in the second half. But Loba’s inclusion in the second half did not make many changes to the attack of the Torchbearers or the scoreline.
