All India Football Federation’s prestigious AIFF Awards for Season 2023-24 were held today in the nation’s capital, New Delhi.

The recently-concluded season was like a roller-coaster ride in Indian football. Our Blue Tigers clinched the SAFF Championship and made the nation proud while fighting till the Round of 16 at the Asian Games. However, they struggled to satisfy in the AFC Asian Cup and went out in the second round of the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

At the national level, we did witness some intense football. Clubs from West Bengal ruled the competitions in men’s football, with Mohun Bagan winning the ISL League Winners’ Shield and Durand Cup, while East Bengal won the Kalinga Super Cup and Mohammedan Sporting secured the I-League title.
