List of all trophies Manolo Marquez won in India

Manolo is the first manager to lead FC Goa to back-to-back Super Cup finals.
The 57-year-old Spanish tactician, Manolo Marquez, is no new name to Indian Football. With over 8 years of experience as a professional footballer and two decades as a manager, he brings his unique mentality to Indian football.
Since moving to India five years ago, where he signed with Hyderabad FC, Manolo has set benchmarks as one of the most consistent and transformative coaches in the ISL.
After creating an incredible turnaround with Hyderabad FC, converting them from a bottom-table team to the ISL Champions, Manolo quickly became one of the most influential coaches and signed for FC Goa in 2023, where he won the Super Cup.
Last year, he juggled dual responsibilities, serving as head coach of the Gaurs during the 2024-25 season while taking up charge as the head coach of the Indian National Football Team.

However, this tenure remained brief and disappointing, as the Spaniard managed to lead the Blue Tigers to only one win out of eight matches. After parting ways with the national team, Manolo redirected his entire focus to FC Goa, where he led his side to the AFC Champions League Two, to face the Asian powerhouse Al-Nassr.
Marquez has continued his dominant club form, making history by becoming the first coach to lead the Gaurs to back-to-back Super Cup Finals, where he would be eying a second consecutive trophy.
Here’s a look at all the trophies Manolo Marquez won in India.
Manolo Marquez’s trophy list-
Indian Super League (2021-22) – Hyderabad FC
Manolo’s journey with Hyderabad FC is probably one of the biggest changes in the Indian Super League. In his first season, he took charge of a bottom-table team and led his side to the 5th position, nearly missing the playoff spot. In his second season, he brought in key players like Ogbeche, Javier Siverio, and Juanan, leading the Nawabs to their first-ever silverware.
Marquez finished the group stage with 11 wins and bagged 38 points to be placed in the second position, just below Jamshedpur FC. This included some massive wins, including a 6-1 victory against Odisha FC, a 5-0 victory against NorthEast United FC and a 2-1 victory against the strong Mumbai City FC.
In the semi-finals, they defeated ATK Mohun Bagan 3-2 on aggregate to advance to the finals, where they faced Kerala Blasters FC.
In the final, Hyderabad FC were trailing for the vast majority of the second half, until Sahil Tavora came to the rescue by whacking in a screamer in the dying minutes to take the game to penalties.
In the penalties, Kattimani stepped up to the occasion to make three crucial saves to seal the victory for Hyderabad FC, securing their maiden silverware. This also marked Manolo’s first major top-tier trophy in a professional football league.
Super Cup 2025 – FC Goa
Manolo’s second trophy in India was the Super Cup 2025 victory with FC Goa. In a straight knockout tournament, FC Goa beat the I-League side Gokulam Kerala FC in the Round of 16, courtesy of Iker Guarrotxena, who scored a hat-trick. In the quarter finals, they defeated the former I-League champions, Punjab FC, in a second-half thriller.
In the semi-final, they faced the reigning ISL Champions, Mohun Bagan Super Giants. After a tied first half, FC Goa scored two goals early in the second half to secure a 3-1 victory and secure their place in the finals for the second time.
In the finals, they comfortably dominated Jamshedpur FC, defeating them 3-0 to clinch their first silverware after three years. With this win, FC Goa qualified for the AFC Champions League 2, marking their second appearance in an AFC tournament.
