The Spanish midfielder dominated the midfield with ninety percent passing accuracy
Bengaluru FC started their Indian Super League (ISL), new season on a positive note. The Blues defeated East Bengal FC by a one-goal margin, scored by the youngster Vinith Venkatesh in the 26th minute of the game at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium on Friday night.
Bengaluru FC head coach Gerard Zaragoza praised BFC’s new signing, Alberto Noguera, who debuted for the club after spending two years with Mumbai City FC.
In response to a question about Alberto Noguera in the post-match press conference, Gerard Zaragoza stated that the good thing about him is that he did not lose the ball. “He’s an experienced player. The good thing with him, you know, is that we can give him the ball, and he does not lose the ball. He can keep the ball with him for long,” quipped Gerard Zaragoza.
He also mentioned that Noguera’s ability to keep the ball helps the other players find space to attack. “This is amazing for our strikers, for our wingers, because then you have someone there to take the ball and keep this ball till the others can attack.”
Alberto Noguera played 85 minutes of the game, maintaining 90% passing accuracy and two chances created.
