Bengaluru FC and Punjab FC are currently unbeaten in ISL 2024-25.

Bengaluru FC will take on Punjab FC at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru on 18 October (Friday) 2024. This will be a fascinating meeting because neither team has lost a game yet in the 2024–25 Indian Super League (ISL) season.

With momentum from their successful Durand Cup campaign, Bengaluru FC will face an emerging Punjab side that has surprised many with their performances this season under the leadership of Greek coach Panagiotis Dilmperis.

Bengaluru FC, one of the most consistent teams in ISL history, are yet to drop a point at home this season. With Sunil Chhetri leading from the front and the backline marshaled by a rock-solid Rahul Bheke and Nikhil Pooajry, Bengaluru has carried their winning mentality from their Durand Cup campaign into the ISL.

In addition to their defensive discipline, Bengaluru’s attacking prowess has flourished under the watchful eye of head coach Gerard Zaragoza.

On the other hand, Punjab FC, who were previously considered the underdog, has redefined expectations this season. Under Dilmperis, they have played with remarkable composure and a fighting spirit that has earned them praise across the league, and that is the core reason they are still unbeaten in the 2024-25 ISL season.

This season, Punjab’s mix of young and experienced players has worked well together, and they are quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with.

So without any doubt, Zaragoza’s Bengaluru FC will rely on their aggressive pressing and quick transitions to exploit gaps in Punjab’s defence from the early minutes of the game.

Meanwhile, Dilmperis’ Punjab FC will look to hit on the counter, using their pace and precision to break Bengaluru’s strong defence. The midfield battle could be decisive, with both teams looking to control possession and dictate the rhythm of the game.
