East Bengal FC vs SC Delhi: All-time head-to-head record ahead of Durand Cup semifinal

East Bengal FC will be all set to battle it out against the capital side of the ISL, SC Delhi, in their Durand Cup semi-final matchup on Wednesday, August 19th, 2026, from 19:00 IST at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan, Kolkata, as it will be a home game for the Moshal side, which might add an added advantage to play in front of their supporters.

Sporting Club Delhi, on the other hand, played a very great Durand Cup in this 135th edition after beating Jamshedpur FC in their opening game and then edged past Defenders and Air Force with commanding scorelines. After some great displays, the capital side of the ISL found their feet in the Durand Cup quarter-finals, where they thrashed FC Raengdai relying on Joseph Sunny’s brace and made it to the semi-finals. And now they will take on the Torchbearers, which will not be an easy task for them.

Both sides will eye the Durand Cup Final 2026

The former capital of India will take on the present capital of India as the Kolkata outfit is set to host the SC Delhi side after they have met in the ISL 2025-26 season just once. If we dive into history, we find that the upcoming game might be the second between these two clubs, as SC Delhi was a rebranded club in the ISL that featured for the first time in the 2025-26 ISL season, and before that it was named Hyderabad FC, a well-known club in the Indian Super League history.
