East Bengal are strong contenders of the Calcutta Football League 2024.
East Bengal have won 39 titles to date, the most by any club in the history of Calcutta Football League. One of Indian football’s most celebrated entities, East Bengal FC will begin their CFL 2024 campaign on June 30 against Tollygunge Agragami at the Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay Stadium in Barrackpore. Ahead of the commencement of the league, East Bengal have announced their squad for CFL 2024.
With the onset of Indian football’s 2024-25 season, all the clubs have braced themselves for another exciting yet thrilling campaign. Defending champions Mohammedan Sporting Club registered a mammoth 6-0 victory over Wari Athletic Club in the season opener.
East Bengal’s arch-rival, Mohun Bagan Super Giant, will begin their season on July 2 as they take on Bhawanipore FC in their season opener. The Kolkata Derby has been scheduled for July 13, with the venue yet to be declared.
