One of the iconic Indian football clubs East Bengal FC are looking to have a strong campaign in the Durand Cup 2024. The Red and Gold brigade, swaggering a brilliant squad, will be eager to show their resilience after last year’s loss against their arch-rivals Mohun Bagan in the final.
The season’s first Kolkata derby ended as a victory for East Bengal against Mohun Bagan. In the Durand Cup, the club has won 16 titles, second only to rivals Mohun Bagan, who have won 17 titles in this esteemed competition over the years.

About the Coach
Carles Cuadrat, the head coach of East Bengal FC, is a Spanish tactician with extensive coaching experience. He was previously employed at Barcelona FC as a Manager and later became the Head Coach of Bengaluru FC, who were victorious in the 2018-19 Indian Super League (ISL).
Carles Cuadrat is famed for his tactical defensive prowess and he has no doubt set his sights on multiple titles with East Bengal also apart from the ISL this season. Cuadrat’s side are hard to beat due to their resilient defence and quick counter-attacking intent.
