FC Goa have launched a majestic wine and gold jersey as their third kit.

FC Goa have been slowly recovering their pace under Manolo Marquez as they finished third in the Indian Super League (ISL) last season. Although they made it to the playoffs, the Gaurs were knocked out by Mumbai City FC in the semi-final.

Beating Chennaiyin FC in the qualifiers was a positive for the Goan side. But the Spanish tactician will be hoping to achieve something with the club before he embarks on his Indian football team management venture next season. The Gaurs will be hoping to turn a new chapter and what better way to do that than to unveil a new look?

FC Goa released their new kit today and the design will get any Gaurs fan drooling. The club has gone for a classic wine red with golden highlights on the collar and sleeves.

Kit sponsor six5six has continued its partnership with the club and collaborated in this kit launch. The jersey has the six5six logo on the left and the club logo on the right, both etched in gold.

Kingfisher’s logo has also been placed centrally under the collar. The kit also features a nice little detail at the back of the collar with “Gaurs” written in gold.

Primarily FC Goa’s jersey has a wine-red colour with checkered maroon lowlights. The kit was unveiled via their social media handle in a music video.

The Gaurs

Seriton Fernandes, Arshdeep Singh, and Sandesh Jhingan were all seen repping the newly launched kit in the video. Arshdeep flaunted the goalkeeper’s kit which will be sky-grey with checkered highlights all over and black highlights on the underside of the sleeves.

Even though they have launched their third kit, the Gaurs’ primary kit hasn’t been announced yet. However, it should feature a majority of their club colours, orange and blue, and is not expected to be much different than the previous season’s kit. Continuing with the same kit from last season could also be an option.
