I-League 2024-25: List of all venues
The new I-league season will see talented youngsters.
The I-League is all set to kick off another exciting season, with clubs fighting for the coveted title and a promotion to the first tier of Indian football. With a mix of experienced players and promising youngsters, each team is aiming to challenge for the title and potentially earn promotion to the Indian Super League(ISL).
Despite the uncertainties surrounding the league in a lot of terms off the field, teams have remained committed to assembling competitive squads and setting up their home grounds.
So here’s a list of all the venues where the I-League matches will take place.
Aizawl FC – Rajiv Gandhi Athletic Stadium
In the heart of Mualpui, Aizawl, Mizoram, lies the Rajiv Gandhi Athletic Stadium. Named after the sixth Prime Minister of India, the stadium primarily hosts football and athletics events.
The Rajiv Gandhi Athletic Stadium holds historical significance as well, having hosted the 26th Northeast Games in 2012. Beyond I-League matches, the stadium fosters local talent by hosting matches for the Mizoram Premier League.
Aizawl FC, proudly calls the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium their home ground. The stadium boasts a two-tiered structure and is currently undergoing construction to expand its seating capacity to 20,000 people.
Delhi FC – Mahilpur Football Stadium
Delhi FC, backed by Minerva Academy, will be playing their I-League matches at the newly constructed sports stadium in Mahilpur, Punjab. This will mark the beginning of professional football in Mahilpur, a town known for its rich footballing tradition and producing legends.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Punjab Sports Department and Delhi FC has paved the way for this exciting development. The local government has been actively involved in restoring the stadium ensuring that it meets the standards of professional football.
Dempo SC – Duler Stadium
With a capacity of 5,000 spectators and an artificial turf pitch, the stadium has been home to some of the most iconic clubs in Indian football, including Dempo SC, Salgaocar FC, and Sporting Goa.
Duler Stadium has hosted numerous prestigious tournaments, including the I-League, the Federation Cup, and the Durand Cup. It also acts as the current home ground for Dempo SC.
Gokulam Kerala FC – EMS stadium
The EMS Stadium, situated in the vibrant city of Kozhikode, Kerala, is a renowned football venue that has witnessed countless matches.
With a capacity of 50,000 spectators, the EMS Stadium has hosted a lot of high-profile football tournaments, including the Super Cup, Santhosh Trophy, and the I-League. It has been the home ground for Gokulam Kerala FC since 2017.
Inter Kashi – Kalyani Stadium
Kalyani Stadium has been a regular host for I-League and Calcutta Football League matches is a 20,000-seater stadium in West Bengal and is transforming with a modern makeover with a five-storied gallery and other facilities.
Kalyani Stadium has also emerged as a prominent venue for various domestic tournaments. The Durand Cup, the IFA Shield, and the Santosh Trophy have all been played on this turf. In 2019 alone, the stadium witnessed the SAFF U-15 Championship, the Calcutta Football League, and the U-17 Women’s Championship. Inter Kashi is all set to play their I-league season in the Kalyani stadium this year.
Namdhari FC – Namdhari Stadium
The Namdhari Stadium which is located in Bhaini Sahib, Ludhiana, Punjab, serves as the home ground for Namdhari Club FC. This stadium has a capacity of 5000 spectators and has played a significant role in the development of football in Bhaini Sahib.
The stadium’s natural grass pitch provides an ideal surface for the players. As Namdhari Club FC continues to grow and evolve, the Namdhari Stadium will remain a vital part of their identity as their home ground.
Rajasthan United – Vidhyadhar Nagar Stadium
After facing the challenge of playing their home matches in various states due to the absence of a suitable stadium and training facilities, Rajasthan United FC will finally have a home ground of their own.
The newly constructed stadium, located on the outskirts of the state capital, boasts a 3000-seat capacity and an artificial turf pitch. This stadium will provide Rajasthan United FC with a permanent home base, allowing them to create a home advantage for themselves.

Real Kashmir – TRC Turf ground
TRC Turf Ground is a football stadium located in Srinagar, in Indian-administered Kashmir. It is Owned by the Jammu & Kashmir Football Association.
The stadium was inaugurated in September 2014. It has an Astroturf surface and a seating capacity of 10,000 people. Since 2015, the ground has been used in the I-League 2nd Division as the home ground for Lonestar Kashmir FC, and I-League for Real Kashmir FC. It has also been used for hosting JKFA Professional League matches.
Shillong Lajong – Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Shillong
Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, often referred to as the Polo Ground is located in the picturesque hills of Shillong, Meghalaya. With a capacity of 17,000, this two-tiered stadium, equipped with a roofed main stand and an artificial turf pitch, has been a part of Indian football since 2009, particularly for Shillong Lajong FC.
This stadium currently acts as the home stadium for Shillong Lajong FC but beyond the I-League, the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium has also been the venue for other football tournaments, including the Shillong Premier League, the Meghalaya State League, the SSA Women’s League, the I-League Second Division, and the Durand Cup.
Sporting Bengaluru – Bangalore Football Stadium
The Bangalore Football Stadium, Located at the Magrath Road, is a familiar name in the history of Indian football. With a capacity of 15,000 (currently reduced to 8400) and an artificial turf pitch, it has hosted numerous thrilling matches, including several I-League fixtures.
One of the most memorable moments in the stadium’s history was Bengaluru FC’s historic I-League title win in their debut season. The Bangalore Football Stadium is now the home of Sporting Bengaluru in the I-League.
Sreenidi Deccan – Deccan Arena
The Deccan Arena, located in Aziz Nagar, Hyderabad, serves as the home ground for Sreenidi Deccan FC. This is not just a stadium but also a modern football facility that has a training ground and a 1500 capacity stadium with artificial turf.
To fight the scorching Hyderabad heat during the I-League games which are held in the afternoon the Deccan Arena has been equipped with a protective roof and new floodlights have been installed, allowing for flexible match timings, even during the late hours.
