IFL 2025-26: Updated points table, most goals after Aizawl FC vs Real Kashmir

Snow Leopards end the season strongly with win over former I League Champions
The first matchday of the final matchweek of the IFL Relegation stage took us to the Deccan Arena in Hyderabad, where former I-League champions Aizawl locked horns with Real Kashmir.
What was expected to be a dead rubber turned out to be one of the fiercest and most intense clashes in the IFL as the Snow Leopards converted twice from penalties to make it 2-0 for Real Kashmir. Goals from Moses and Junior Traore were enough to seal the fate of the game.
Aizawl FC tried to make a comeback after Zozoa pulled one back in the stoppage time, but it was too late for the Mizoram outfit. The game ended 2-1 in favour of Real Kashmir as they signed off from this season of Indian Football League in dominating fashion.
Let’s take a closer look at how the IFL points table has changed after this game and find out how tonight’s results will impact the championship prospects of different teams.
A brief look at the IFL 2025-26 points table

With this win, Real Kashmir finish the season strongly as they end the campaign after emerging as the table toppers of the relegation round. In the first few weeks of the league stage, it seemed that relegation was inevitable for the Snow Leopards, but the Kashmir boys did an outstanding job to finish strongly.
Though the defeat would hardly affect Aizawl, they ended up finishing second in the relegation round. A hard pill to swallow for Aizawl, as they were in the top six in almost every matchweek of the league phase but still ended up competing in the relegation zone after dropping points at last.
Players with the most goals after matchday 14 of IFL 2025-26
- Marcus Joseph jr (Dempo SC) – 7 goals
- Hugo Diaz (Diamond Harbour FC) – 7 goals
- Zomuansanga (Aizawl FC) – 6 goals
- Phrangki Buam (Shillong Lajong FC) – 6 goals

What to expect from the next matches of IFL 2025-26
So, tomorrow, one team will finally bid adieu to the Indian second division. Two-time I-League champions Gokulam will take on Namdhari in the deciding clash. A draw will be enough for Namdhari to stay alive but a win is mandatory for the Malabarians to avoid slipping into the third division.
So, hold your breath and keep a calculator beside you as things are becoming pretty interesting with every matchday. Every goal, every save, every single point counts and with such fine margins, you blink, and you are out of the title race.
