IFL 2025-26: Updated points table, most goals after Real Kashmir vs Gokulam Kerala

Snow Leopards score thrice against Malabarians to go four points above bottom spot

The latest matchday of the Indian Football League (IFL) took us to the Deccan Arena in Hyderabad, where former I-League Champions Gokulam Kerala locked horns with Real Kashmir in the Relegation Stage.

Both teams were tied at the same points before the game, and they needed a win to keep their survival hopes alive. The game began with Barata scoring an own goal in the 26th minute. Things became worse after Cameroonian defender Aminou Bouba got a red card in the 30th minute.

Gokulam Kerala FC played almost an hour with ten men, and the Snow Leopards exploited their defence badly. Goals from Shedrack Charles and Inam were enough to propel Kashmir to a big win over Gokulam. The match ended with Real Kashmir thrashing Gokulam 3-0 in Hyderabad.

Let’s take a closer look at how the IFL points table has changed after this game and find out how tonight’s results will impact the championship prospects of different teams.

Real Kashmir, who once felt that relegation was inevitable, now find themselves in a better position. They are four points above the relegation zone, and they now go to the second spot in the group, behind table toppers of Relegation Stage Aizawl FC.

Gokulam are in serious trouble now, and they must regroup and get back to winning ways before it’s too late.

They are still a point above relegation-prone Namdhari and they must get the better of Aizawl FC in the next game to stay alive in the survival race.

Players with the most goals after matchday 4 of IFL 2025-26

  • Marcus Joseph jr (Dempo) – 7 goals
  • Antonio Moyano (Diamond Harbour) – 5 goals
  • Amadou Soukouna (Rajasthan FC) – 4 goals
  • Phrangki Buam (Shillong Lajong) – 4 goals
  • Everbrightson Sana (Shillong Lajong) – 4 goals

What to expect from the next matches of IFL 2025-26

The focus will now shift towards the Championship stage as Rajasthan and Dempo are all set to lock horns with each other tomorrow.

Dempo are technically out of the title race, but will be keen to destroy Rajasthan’s hopes, who must win the next game to reduce the point deficit with Diamond Harbour.

The Desert Vipers lost the last match after conceding two late goals in stoppage time. They are now eight points behind in the title race, but mathematically, they are still alive.

So, hold your breathe and keep a calculator beside you as things are becoming pretty interesting with every matchday.
