IFL 2025-26: Updated points table, most goals after Shillong Lajong vs Rajasthan FC

Eight teams in IFL are tied at one point each

The first fixture of the third matchday of the Indian Football League (IFL) 2025-26 took us to the coastal fields of Goa, where Dempo SC locked horns against Real Kashmir. For the final game of the matchday, the IFL caravan moved on to the Scotland of the East, where home team Shillong Lajong hosted Rajasthan FC.

Goa’s solitary hope in the second division, Dempo, played a thrilling draw against Real Kashmir FC. After Inam drew the first blood in the dying minutes of the first half, it was Marcus Joseph from Trinidad who equalised via a penalty goal in the regulation time of the first half.

The second half had two successive goals in the hour mark, as the former Ivory Coast U23 player, Aubin Kouakou’s goal was nullified by Shedrack Charles from Nigeria. The game ended 2-2 as both sides had to settle for a point each after the African boys made it a high-octane clash in Goa.

The final game of Matchday 3 took us to Shillong, where we witnessed another draw. Shillong Lajong drew the first blood in the 15th minute, but Abhishek’s goal in the 53rd minute was enough to salvage a point for the Rajasthan outfit.

In this article, we shall take a closer look at the updated points table of the Indian Football League 2025-26 and find out who remains atop the points table.
