IFL 2025-26: Updated points table, most goals after Sreenidhi Deccan vs Shillong Lajong FC

Table toppers play a goalless draw in the City of Nizams
The second matchday of Matchweek 6 of the Indian Football League(IFL) saw two exciting games: Rajasthan FC took on Chanmari, and table-toppers Shillong and Sreenidhi locked horns.
In the first game, the Desert Vipers went on to get the better of Chanmari FC. It took a while to break the deadlock, but ultimately it was the home team that tightened its grip on the proceedings and goals from Naoba and Soukouna saw Rajasthan winning the game 2-0.
In the next game, it was a goalless draw played between the table toppers Sreenidhi Deccan and Shillong Lajong. The Telangana outfit failed to make the most of their home advantage, and a resilient defensive display from Shillong Lajong FC held the game to a 0-0 draw.
Let’s take a closer look at how the IFL points table has changed after this game and find out how tonight’s results will impact the championship prospects of different teams.
A brief look at the IFL 2025-26 points table

Things have become really interesting and messy at the top, with three teams tied for first on the IFL points table with 11 points each. A draw between Shillong Lajong and Sreenidhi Deccan and a win for Rajasthan FC were enough to make things interesting at the top.
But everything can still change as Diamond Harbour are yet to play in this matchweek. They have a golden chance to win the next game and make it to the top of the table. For Chanmari, as expected, their real test began away from home, and they have crumbled badly.
Players with the most goals after matchday 17 of IFL 2025-26
- Amadou Soukouna (Rajasthan FC) – 4 goals
- Marcus Joseph jr (Dempo) – 3 goals
- Phrangki Buam (Shillong Lajong) – 3 goals
- Antonio Moyano (Diamond Harbour) – 3 goals
- Fabrice Kah (Sreenidhi) – 3 goals
What to expect in matchday 18 of IFL 2025-26

The final matchday of Matchweek 6 will feature two games. It will be Dempo and Namdhari locking horns with each other in the first game. Two teams haven’t been able to impress much so far. Goa’s solitary hope Dempo must find ways to win, else they may be relegated to the third division.
In the second game, Diamond Harbour will enter the game as favourites, but Real Kashmir cannot be underestimated. The Snow Leopards are yet to win a game and will be hungry to stop Diamond Harbour from clinching any points in the next game.
