IFL 2025-26: Updated points table, most goals after Shillong Lajong vs Real Kashmir

Sreenidi lost golden opportunity to top IFL table

The first matchday of Matchweek 7 of the Indian Football League(IFL) saw Sreenidi Deccan locking horns with Aizawl FC in the City of Nizams.

The match began with Sreenidi exerting their dominance from the first minute. The series of constant attacks saw Castaneda find the back of the net in the 29th minute, and Sreenidi led 1-0.

It looked like the Telangana outfit was marching for a comfortable win, but Aizawl didn’t lose hope, and they kept trying.

An unfortunate own goal from Jagdeep Singh in the last few minutes of regulation time saw the game end in a stalemate.

Let’s take a closer look at how the IFL points table has changed after this game and find out how tonight’s results will impact the championship prospects of different teams.

A brief look at the IFL 2025-26 points table

IFL 2025-26: Updated points table, most goals after Sreenidi Deccan vs Aizawl FC

Sreenidi have been dropping points in their last few games. Despite being unbeaten, the failure to convert draws into wins can be a major blow for them, given how fine the margins are this season.

With this draw for Aizawl, the Mizoram outfit are almost out of the title race.

The Northeastern sides have dropped a lot of points away from home, and this has been a major concern for them.

With just few matchweeks left, every point counts and every effort the players put in ground can determine who will win the championship.

Players with the most goals after matchday 19 of IFL 2025-26

  • Amadou Soukouna (Rajasthan FC) – 4 goals
  • Marcus Joseph jr (Dempo) – 4 goals
  • Phrangki Buam (Shillong Lajong) – 3 goals
  • Antonio Moyano (Diamond Harbour) – 3 goals
  • Fabrice Kah (Sreenidi) – 3 goals

What to expect in matchday 20 of IFL 2025-26

The first match will feature Namdhari and Diamond Harbour. This will be a crucial game as the Kolkata outfit can go four points clear at the top.

For Namdhari, a win will almost guarantee their participation next season and will be way above the relegation zone.

The last game of the day will feature Real Kashmir and Chanmari, both of whom are languishing in the relegation zone.

This is a must-win game for both sides, as a defeat for either team might result in relegation. What a tragic story it has been for Chanmari, from competing in the title race to battling relegation.
