Diamond Harbour are the table toppers of IFL 2025-26

The third matchday of Matchweek 8 of the Indian Football League (IFL) saw two intense battles being played out between Real Kashmir and Gokulam Kerala, and the second match saw Rajasthan United and Sreenidi Deccan locking horns in the final fixture.

The first game between Real Kashmir and Gokulam Kerala had eight goals, two red cards, and everything to make it a blockbuster. This was a do-or-die game for Real Kashmir, and the Snow Leopards clinched their first win of the season in a dominating way, beating the Malabarians 6-2 after both sides were a man down.

In the second game, Rajasthan needed a win to keep the title race alive. Sreenidi drew the first blood and were leading 1-0. To make things even worse, the Desert Vipers were down to ten men but still managed to find the equaliser. But a late winner from Lalthankhuma saw the game ending 2-1 in favour of the Deccans.

With yet another matchweek coming to an end, Diamond Harbour FC leads the IFL 2025-26 points table with 19 points in 8 matches followed by Sreenidi deccan FC at the second spot with 15 points.

Rajasthan United FC and Shillong Lajong take the third and fourth spot respectively with 14 points each completing the top 4. The fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth spots are occupied by Dempo SC, Aizawl FC, Chanmari FC and Gokulam Kerala respectively.

The bottom two spots are occupied by Namdhari FC and Real kashmir FC completing the IFL table.

What to expect in matchweek 9 of IFL 2025-26

The matchweek 9 of the IFL 2025-26 will see Namdhari take on Chanmari in the first game which can see a major reshuffle in the points table, following that on the second day Diamond Harbour will take on Gokulam Kerala in a crucial fixture. Later that same day two Northeastern sides, Shillong Lajong and Aizawl FC will come face to face.

The final day of the matchweek will see a double header again, the first between Dempo and Rajasthan United followed by Real kashmir vs Sreenidi Deccan.
