IFL 2026-27: Updated points table, most goals after Real Kashmir vs Nagaland United

Kaizad Ambapardiwalla’s Nagaland makes dream start in second tier with win over Snow Leopards

The Indian Football League 2026-27 season kicked off at TRC Football Stadium, Srinagar, in the Crown of India, Jammu & Kashmir, where home team Real Kashmir locked horns with Nagaland United.

Nagaland United, who acquired their IFL license from Aizawl FC, had a debut worth reminiscing about for a lifetime in the second division. It took less than 120 seconds for the debutants to score the opening goal of the new season after Remlala found the back of the net to make it 1-0.

Hriata doubled the lead in the 21st minute. An unfortunate own goal from Rova saw Real Kashmir get a goal back in the game, trailing 2-1. The Snow Leopards kept pushing for the equaliser, but Hriata found his second of the evening.

Hriata’s brace was enough to seal the fate of the game as Nagaland United won the IFL opener 3-1 against Real Kashmir.

Let’s take a closer look at how the IFL points table has changed after this game.
