A packed international window is buzzing for the Blue Tigers with a blockbuster line-up of friendlies during the September-October international window, as they already had a good draw against FIFA World Cup 2026 participant Panama at Sree Kanteerava Stadium, where Bengaluru FC’s forward Ryan Williams scored the opening goal.
From the Blue Tigers’ perspective, it will write history and legacy, and it will surely uplift the footballing vision in the country, as Khalid Jamil’s squad has trained at full pace before taking on Carlo Ancelotti’s yellow army. For India, there is nothing to lose but a lot of ground to cover and prove their worth to make their names in the global arena, as the Blue Tigers need to maintain the defensive shape with Anwar Ali and Bijoy Varghese from the central zone, and Abhishek Singh Tekcham with Akash Mishra will provide the width while looking to focus on their compactness.
Midfield will be a vital thing for Apuia, Thapa and other midfielders, but the main difference makers will be the forward line, as Ryan Williams has great form in the national colours, as he bagged the opening goal against Panama.
Meanwhile, Brazil depend on their natural gameplay after two qualifying friendlies against Australia, where they won one and got a stalemate, with players like Vinicius, Estevao, and Endrick, the attack looks really scary when they take on the Blue Tigers.
