Exclusive - Sony Sports to broadcast India's friendlies against Brazil, Panama & Uruguay
The network will also produce all three matches for the AIFF, with tickets for all matches going on sale through District.

Sony Sports Network are set to acquire the broadcast and live streaming rights for India‘s international friendlies against Panama, Brazil and Uruguay in the Indian subcontinent, Khel Now can exclusively reveal.
Sony Sports will also produce all three matches for the All India Football Federation as part of the deal.
It completes another piece of the commercial structure around the window. AIFF has already handed ticketing rights for the fixtures to District, with early bird sales for the Brazil match opening on September 2.
Three World Cup teams in eleven days
All three opponents played at the FIFA World Cup 2026, and the window gives Khalid Jamil‘s side a run of tests it has not had in years.
India begin against Panama on September 26 at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru. The team then travels to Kolkata for back-to-back fixtures at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan.
Brazil come first on October 3. The five-time world champions are ranked fifth and are clearly the biggest draw of the three.
Uruguay follow on October 6. The two-time world champions are ranked 20th. Panama sit 44th.
The Brazil match will take the attention, but the Uruguay fixture may be the harder read.
Uruguay are being led on an interim basis by Diego Forlán, appointed in August after Marcelo Bielsa left following a group-stage exit at the World Cup. Forlán is combining the role with his job leading Uruguay’s U-20 side, and a permanent appointment is expected by the end of 2026 or early 2027.
Forlán is a familiar name in India. He played for Mumbai City FC in the ISL in 2016.
Khalid Jamil names debatable squad for Brazil, Uruguay and Panama friendlies
Jamil has named a 26-member squad for the three matches, and several established names have been left out.
Sandesh Jhingan is the most experienced absentee. The FC Goa defender has made 77 appearances for India and has captained the side in recent matches.
Rahul Bheke, Lallianzuala Chhangte, Vishal Kaith, Liston Colaco and Jeakson Singh have also missed out.
There are new faces. Slovenia-based goalkeeper Som Kumar, midfielder Mohammed Sanan and defender Ricky Meetei Haobam are all in the group. Four reserves have been named alongside the 26.
India begin their preparatory camp in Bengaluru on September 14. The squad travels to Kolkata on September 28 for the Brazil and Uruguay fixtures.

Forwards: Edmund Lalrindika, Irfan Yadwad, Manvir Singh, Rahim Ali, Ryan Williams, Vikram Partap Singh.

Where to buy India vs Brazil tickets?
Early bird sales for the Brazil friendly will be live on September 2, 2026, at 4:00 PM IST, through the District app and website.
To book tickets, fans need to open District, set their location to Kolkata and search for the India vs Brazil event. They can then select their preferred stand and seats before completing the payment. Once the transaction is completed, the e-ticket will be generated.
Tickets for India’s matches against Panama and Uruguay have not been released yet.
