Bengaluru FC vs Kerala Blasters FC: All-time Head-to-Head record

Blasters have not defeated the Blues at Kanteerava
Bengaluru FC are all set to play the Kerala Blasters FC for the highly anticipated southern derby clash of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-26 on the 11th of April 2026 at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium, Bengaluru.
The Blasters, after a disappointing loss to the Phoenixes at Delhi, will be looking to bag their first win of the campaign, while Bengaluru FC, fresh from a 2-0 victory against FC Goa, will be eager to continue the momentum and climb higher up the table.
Whenever the Kerala Blasters and the Blues have locked horns against each other, it has always produced some high-octane moments and delivered nothing less than delight for the fans.
Even though the fixture has favoured Bengaluru FC in almost three-fourths of the time, the Blasters have managed to provide Bengaluru with a fighting match whenever they locked horns with their arch rivals.
Over the past years, the Blasters have faced Bengaluru FC 20 times across different tournaments. Out of these 20 meetings, Bengaluru has won twelve matches, Blasters came on top four times, and in four instances, the game ended in a stalemate.
An intense head-to-head showdown

Kerala Blasters FC first faced Bengaluru FC on the 31st of December 2017, where the Blues defeated the Blasters with a 2-1 scoreline. Bengaluru kept dominating the Blasters comfortably until 2019, when the Blasters tied the Blues in a 2-2 stalemate.
On February 15th, 2020, Blasters registered their first victory of the fixture, defeating their counterparts 2-1, courtesy of Ogbeche, who scored a brace. However, in the reverse fixture, Bengaluru FC pounced back strongly with a trashing 4-2 victory, with Silva, Paartalu, Delgado and Chhetri registering their names in the scoresheet.
The next five games were equally contested, with the Blasters winning two games with a 2-1 and a 3-2 scoreline, along with Bengaluru also winning two matches with a 1-0 scoreline in both matches. One out of these five matches ended in a 1-1 draw.
One of the most controversial matches of the Indian Super League happened in their next meeting, during the knockouts of the 2023 season. With no goals separating both sides by the end of the regular time, the match headed to extra time, where Sunil Chhetri scored a free kick, which the then-head coach of Kerala Blasters FC, Ivan Vukomanovic, deemed unfair and urged the players to walkout from the stadium.
In their next meeting in the 2024 season opener, the Blasters defeated Bengaluru with a 2-1 scoreline in the packed Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, which also happened to be the last victory for the Blasters against Bengaluru FC.
Later on, the Blues won all three remaining matches against the Tuskers, with a 4-2 victory in their most recent encounter, back in December 2024.
