ISL 2025-26: Full fixtures list of Chennaiyin FC

The Marina Machans will play their first home game on 22nd March against FC Goa!

Former Indian Super League champions Chennaiyin FC have fallen from grace in recent seasons. With just one playoff appearance since 2021, the Southern Blues will be looking to bounce back as their supporters yearn to return to the glory days.

The Marina Machans parted ways with Owen Coyle and signed Clifford Miranda ahead of their AIFF Super Cup campaign last November. The all-Indian CFC side struggled against Mohun Bagan, East Bengal, and Dempo SC – finishing bottom of their group.

Chennaiyin FC’s biggest problem seems to be goalscoring – something that they have to work on and improve significantly to have a chance of fighting for the title. While the two-time ISL champions are not the favourites to win the title, CFC have always stepped up when their backs are against the wall.

The January transfer window has significantly improved the squad as Chennaiyin FC signed four foreigners including ISL veteran Alberto Noguera and former NorthEast United star Mohammed Bemmamer. Irfan Yadwad, Pritam Kotal, and Farukh Choudhary would be the Indian players that would be spearheading the squad.

A look at the fixtures…

Clifford Miranda’s side will start their ISL campaign against the Goan tactician’s former employers – Mumbai City FC on 19th February. Chennaiyin FC have had a woeful record against the Islanders in recent seasons and last tasted victory against them in February 2020.

Following their trip to Mumbai, CFC will travel to Kolkata to face the reigning champions Mohun Bagan Super Giant before facing Odisha FC away from home. The match against Kerala Blasters at the EMS Stadium in Kozhikode on 7th March will be for more than just three points for both the Southern rivals.

Chennaiyin FC will kickstart their campaign at the Marina Arena on 22nd March against FC Goa. They will then play against Inter Kashi, East Bengal, SC Delhi, and Mohammedan SC in back-to-back fixtures. These five games could decide the season for the Marina Machans as they would ideally want to relive their glory days.

Away games against Jamshedpur FC, Punjab FC, and NorthEast United follow next before Chennaiyin FC end their ISL 2025-26 campaign against arch-rivals Bengaluru FC at the Marina Arena, in what would be a mouthwatering clash on the final matchday of the season.
