Punjab FC eye big win over Highlanders in Delhi
The home team have started the season on an optimistic note. After a slender defeat to Jamshedpur FC, Dilmperisโ boys went on to secure all three points in a difficult away fixture against Bengaluru FC in the Sree Kanteerva Stadium after a brace from Effiong Nsungusi.
The Highlanders, on the other hand, will be without the services of their main striker, Ajaraie, who was phenomenal last season and is out on loan. The Highlanders faced a 3-0 defeat to East Bengal in the opening game before playing two draws against Bengaluru FC and Mumbai City FC.
The Shers have assembled a strong squad and their core Indian players, including the likes of Md Uvais, Nikhil Prabhu, Vinit Rai, Princeton Rebello and Leon Augustine look solid on the pitch.
The Shers will leave no stone unturned to give a late Holi present to their home fans in their first outing in the national capital.
