Kerala Blasters faces Jamshedpur FC on 18th April

Kerala Blasters FC are all set to lock horns with Jamshedpur FC on the 18th of April 2026, at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kochi, as both teams face each other in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-26, as the league enters its decisive phase.

Kerala Blasters, after a heartbreaking draw against NorthEast United FC, conceding a late equaliser, will be eying a solid statement win against Jamshedpur, while the visitors, confident from scoring a late equaliser against Mumbai and securing a deadlock, would be looking forward to building upon the momentum and keeping their title hopes alive.

Every time the Blasters have faced Jamshedpur FC, it has certainly provided some thrilling moments to the fans. Even though a good chunk of the matches ended in a deadlock, most were filled with high-intensity goals, dribbles, and tackles that had fans on the edge of their seats.

Out of the 19 meetings between the two sides, nine ended in a deadlock, while the Blasters and Jamshedpur won five each.

Here is a detailed report on the all-time head-to-head record between Kerala Blasters FC and Jamshedpur FC.

A fixture dominated by stalemates

The first time Kerala Blasters faced off against Jamshedpur FC was back in November 2017, where their maiden encounter ended in a 0-0 draw. In the reverse fixture in 2017, it was Jamshedpur who had the final laugh, beating the Blasters 2-1.

The next three matches ended in a 2-2, 1-1, and yet again a 2-2 draw, respectively, before Jamshedpur won 3-2 against the Blasters, off an own goal from Ogbeche, which extinguished the faint playoff hopes of the Blasters that season.

In the 2021 season, Blasters recorded their first-ever victory against Jamshedpur, defeating them 3-2, courtesy of Costa and Jordan Murray, who scored a brace in the second half.

Their next two encounters ended in a draw before Jamshedpur secured a 3-0 victory, which strengthened their ISL shield hopes, which they eventually went on to win later in the season.

In March 2022, both Kerala Blasters FC and Jamshedpur FC locked horns in one of their highest stakes matches so far, in the semi-final of the Indian Super League. In the first leg, Sahal Abdul Samad’s solitary goal provided the Blasters with a lead, and in the second leg, the game ended in a 1-1 draw, courtesy of Adrian Luna and Halder, who scored for the Blasters and Jamshedpur, respectively.

With this draw, Kerala Blasters won the semi-final 2-1 on aggregate and went on to face Hyderabad FC in the final.

In the next two matches, Blasters defeated Jamshedpur with a dominating scoreline of 3-1 and 1-0 before facing a 3-2 defeat in the Super Cup 2024. The 1-0 victory of the Blasters happened to be the last time they defeated Jamshedpur.

In 2024 March, the game ended in a 1-1 draw. In the previous season, the first match ended in favour of Jamshedpur 1-0 and in the reverse fixture in March 2025, their latest meeting ended 1-1, with Korou Singh scoring for the Blasters and an own goal from Milos Drincic securing the deadlock of the match for Jamshedpur and eliminating the Blasters from contention for the playoffs.
