Punjab FC set for season opener on Feb 16
Punjab FC will lock horns with Odisha FC at the Kalinga Stadium on February 16, 2026, in their Indian Super League opener for 2026. The All India Football Federation has finally released a tentative fixtures list for the league, which is subject to change depending on the telecasters.
After what had seemed like an unending wait for Indian Football faithfuls, the ISL is finally back for its 12th iteration, albeit in a different setup. All teams will be playing each other once in a round robin format, with the team finishing at the top of the table set to be declared as Champions.
Punjab FC finished last season in the tenth position of the thirteen-team league, two positions lower from their maiden campaign in the 2023-24 season.
Punjab FC have 6 home fixtures and 7 away fixtures
The single-leg home and away format sees Punjab play 13 games, the first on February 16th and the final on May 17th, 2026. For its home stadium, the Shers will set the ball rolling in the JLN Stadium, New Delhi, a venue they will be sharing with Sporting Club Delhi.
After their opener against Odisha FC, they will take on Jamshedpur FC and Bengaluru FC, all of which will be played away from home. Their first game at the JLN Stadium is on March 9th against NorthEast United FC.
