Sporting Club Delhi vs Kerala Blasters FC: All time head-to-head record

The Phoenixes and the Tuskers have faced each other only once

SC Delhi will lock horns against Kerala Blasters FC on Sunday, 5th of April 2026, as the Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-26 action returns to the National Capital.

The match is scheduled to take place at 5:00 PM IST as both teams eye a win in the capital city.

Blasters, after a disappointing first phase of the Indian Super League 2025-26 season, will be looking forward to approach the second phase in a much positive positive manner under the helm of their new gaffer Ashley Westwood, who joined the club as a replacement of David Catala, who parted ways with the Blasters after a 3-1 loss against Punjab FC, before the international break.

Meanwhile, SC Delhi, on the other hand, will be eying their first win against the struggling Blasters, after two commendable draws against Mumbai City FC and Jamshedpur FC.

Following the rebranding, both teams have just faced each other only once so far, which was in the second round clash of the Group D fixtures of the Super Cup 2025.

Here is a detailed report on what happened in their only encounter so far.

Blasters blaze their way through

In the first half, it was all Blasters as they created attacks from left, right and centre. The first real chance for the Blasters came in the 4th minute, when Juan headed a beautifully whipped ball from Adrian Luna, which, to his dismay, hit the crossbar. Kerala kept pressing with purpose, and this saw Nihal win a free kick just outside the box after Alex Saji fouled him, resulting in a yellow card for the Delhi skipper.

In the 18th minute, KBFC finally broke the deadlock courtesy of their recruit Obieta, who anticipated and grabbed a poor pass from Ayush Adhikari to progress forward and score the opener for the Tuskers. Just four minutes later, Korou provided a teasing ball into the 18-yard box to Nihal. A one-touch pass from Nihal to Koldo doubled the advantage for his side.

In the 34th minute, Luna provided a beautiful lofted ball into the box, where Korou took an acrobatic shot to register the third goal for the Blasters, registering his first goal in the Super Cup.

Meanwhile, Sporting Delhi were struggling and relied on some rare counterattacks, which they ultimately failed to capitalise on. At the half-time interval, Kerala had almost sealed the match with a 3-0 lead.

In the second half, it was Sporting Club Delhi who attacked with intent and purpose. They tried to open up and reduce the lead, but despite their continued attacks, they could not disturb the score line.

In the dying minute of the game, the Portuguese striker Tiago Alves took a stunning free kick, which unfortunately hit the bar. The second half was dominated in the midfield with some cameo attacks, which failed to change the score line.

This way, Blasters secured a victory in the only encounter with Sporting Club Delhi, after the club rebranded from Hyderabad FC.
