ISL 2025-26: Updated points table, most goals and most assists

East Bengal sit at the top of the ISL 2025-26 points table.

Mumbai City FC will consider themselves lucky having walked away with three points in Indian Super League 2025-26 (ISL 2025-26) after a cagey affair against Chennaiyin FC at the Mumbai Football Arena.

The Islanders kicked off their campaign with a 1-0 win over the Marina Machans courtesy of an own goal from Pritam Kotal. It was a very tight game with both teams failing to create many clear-cut chances.

The visitors were on their toes and kept on pushing for an equaliser after conceding an own goal, but Mumbai City FC did not let anyone jailbreak. The hosts managed to hold Chennaiyin FC’s forward line to perfection despite multiple corners, free kicks, and set pieces. It was a heated fixture with five yellow cards and 28 fouls and free kicks.
