Mohun Bagan SG lost points against Jamshedpur FC

The Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-26 season is beginning to take an exciting turn as the league slowly gets its shape. After returning from the international break, the stakes are high as all the teams have played their six to seven matches in the group stage.

As many teams are still looking for the rhythm and momentum to get their foot into the league, Mumbai City FC find themselves top of the table. Mohun Bagan SG spoiled points against Jamshedpur FC, as they are currently placed second.

On April 4th, there was a double header clash, first Jamshedpur FC hosted the Mariners at the JRD Tata complex, where they got a stalemate against the visitors with a score line of 1-1.

The Men of Steel scored a last-minute equalizer against Mohun Bagan SG.

In the next match, Bengaluru FC dominated the game against FC Goa with a commanding 2-0 victory.

As expected, Mumbai City FC lead the tight and congested ISL points table, while Mohun Bagan SG and Jamshedpur fell short with a 1-1 draw. The Islanders are currently placed first on the table with 14 points.

Despite Mumbai’s strong start, the race is extremely tight. Bengaluru FC thrashed FC Goa as they are also in the same tally with 14 points placed at fourth on the table alongside Mohun Bagan and Jamshedpur FC.

Just behind them, East Bengal and Punjab FC tied on 11 points as they are showing promise to get better day by day.

FC Goa stands still at the seventh position with 10 points. Northeast United, Odisha FC, Chennaiyin and Inter Kashi FC still find their best form to accelerate their season.

Lastly, Mohammedan SC, Kerala Blasters and SC Delhi are yet to secure a single win in the ISL.
