East Bengal face Mohun Bagan SG in the ISL title decider

Bengaluru FC fought back from behind and secured a vital win against Chennaiyin FC in today’s first game. Braian Sánchez and Soham Varshneya came up with a shot on target each for the Blues before Daniel Chima Chukwu put the home side ahead against the run of play.

Bengaluru FC replied with an immediate equaliser by Ryan Williams and sealed the deal with Serto Worneilen Kom’s debut ISL in the 89th minute.

The second match saw Bhubaneswar host a goal fest between Punjab FC and Odisha FC. The first half was a tight affair and was filled with unfinished chances from both sides. Manglenthang Kipgen broke the deadlock in the 69th minute before Odisha FC equalised in the 71st minute.

Bede Amarachi Osuji and Dani Ramirez scored in quick succession for the visitors and secured all three points. Kartik Hantal pulled a consolation goal back for the hosts, but it wasn’t enough.

Bengaluru FC have taken the top spot with 23 points following tonight’s win. East Bengal FC have dropped down to second with 22 points, while Mohun Bagan SG have been relegated to the third spot with 22 points. Punjab FC have been promoted to fourth with 22 points. Mumbai City FC have come down to fifth with 22 points. Jamshedpur FC have further dropped down to sixth with 21 points. 

FC Goa are ranked seventh with 20 points, while Kerala Blasters FC remained in eighth position. NorthEast United held the ninth spot with 13 points, while Inter Kashi took the tenth spot with twelve points, while SC Delhi remained at eleventh.

Odisha FC stay put at twelfth. Chennaiyin FC are ranked thirteenth while Mohammedan Sporting still find themselves at the bottom of the table.

  • Jamie Maclaren (Mohun Bagan SG) – 9 goals
  • Effiong Nsungusi (Punjab FC) – 7 goals

  • Matija Babović (Sporting Delhi) – 5 goals

Players with the most assists in ISL 2025-26:

  • Ebindas Y (Kerala Blasters FC) – 4 assists
  • Miguel Figueira (East Bengal FC) – 4 assists
  • Lalremtluanga Fanai (Bengaluru FC) 4 assists 
  • Subhasish Bose (Mohun Bagan SG) – 3 assists
  • Alberto Noguera (Chennaiyin FC) – 3 assists
