Inter Kashi vs East Bengal Player Ratings: Aké Loba & Bipin Singh shine in ISL 2026-27 clash
East Bengal thrashes Inter Kashi 5-1 in Pune.
East Bengal FC registered a commanding 5–1 victory over Inter Kashi FC, producing an impressive attacking display in 2026-27 Indian Super League (ISL) to secure all three points. The Torchbearers were clinical in front of goal, finding the net five times, while Inter Kashi managed only a solitary response.
Dani Ramírez opened the scoring with a superb finish into the top-left corner before PV Vishnu doubled East Bengal’s lead with a clinical effort following a swift counterattack. Aké Loba then converted a penalty to make it 3–0, putting the Red and Gold Brigade firmly in control.
Inter Kashi pulled one back through Ayush Chhikara, who capitalised on a defensive error. However, Loba restored East Bengal’s three-goal advantage with a well-placed header from Bipin Singh’s cross. In the second half, Lukasz Zwoliński added a fifth with a close-range finish to cap off an outstanding attacking performance.
Despite creating several opportunities after the break, Inter Kashi struggled to breach East Bengal’s defence. Goalkeeper Albino Gomes also produced multiple saves to ensure that the Torchbearers maintained their comfortable advantage. This win keeps East Bengal’s unbeaten 12-match streak in the ISL intact.
It was a statement victory for East Bengal, who showcased their attacking quality to claim all three points in emphatic fashion. These back-to-back dominant victories have taken East Bengal to the top of the points table as well.

Catch Every Update, Anytime, Anywhere

Albino Gomes – 5/10
Gomes endured a difficult evening, conceding four goals before half-time and another after the break. He produced a couple of excellent saves, including one in a one-on-one situation, but the way the ball slipped beneath him for East Bengal’s second goal would surely frustrate the former Jamshedpur FC goalkeeper.
Sajad Hussain – 5/10
Starting at left-back for the second successive game, Hussain struggled to contain Bipin Singh. He picked up a knock towards the end of the first half and was replaced by Aritra Das at the break.
Nishchal Chandan – 5/10
Chandan missed his challenge in the build-up to the opener as East Bengal cut through Inter Kashi’s defence. He struggled to stem the visitors’ attacks and was withdrawn around the 70-minute mark after picking up a knock.
Pratik Chowdhary – 5/10

The experienced centre-back endured a night to forget as East Bengal repeatedly sliced through Inter Kashi’s backline. He failed to keep pace with Aké Loba’s run, which left the hosts four down inside 35 minutes.
Laldinliana Renthlei – 6/10
Renthlei pushed forward whenever the opportunity arose and delivered the cross that led to Inter Kashi’s consolation goal. That attacking contribution offered some respite on an otherwise difficult evening for the former Chennaiyin FC defender.
Wayne Vaz – 5/10
Vaz struggled to keep pace in midfield and conceded the foul that earned East Bengal a penalty. He improved after the break, but the contest was already beyond Inter Kashi’s reach.
Jitendra Singh – 5/10
Jitendra surrendered possession in the build-up to East Bengal’s second goal. He partially redeemed himself with a precise cross-field pass to release Renthlei, whose subsequent cross led to Inter Kashi’s consolation.
Hitesh Sharma – 5/10
Hitesh was outmuscled by Rohit Kumar and Mohammed Rashid and struggled to influence proceedings. His pressing was poorly timed in the first half, allowing East Bengal to bypass him and leaving Inter Kashi outnumbered in midfield.
Sumit Passi – 5/10
It was another quiet evening on the right flank for the Inter Kashi captain. Although vocal in his efforts to rally his teammates, Passi offered little attacking threat before being substituted around the hour mark.
Rosenberg Gabriel – 6/10
Gabriel looked lively on the left and linked up well with Chhikara, but struggled to turn those promising exchanges into a decisive contribution. Carlos Vaz Pinto replaced him for Thoi Singh at half-time.
Ayush Chhikara – 6.5/10
Inter Kashi’s brightest performer, Chhikara justified his selection ahead of Manvir Singh with tireless running and intelligent movement. One such run brought the hosts their consolation goal before the break. However, he squandered two other opportunities that could have made the scoreline more respectable.
Substitutes
Thoi Singh – 5/10
Introduced for Gabriel at half-time, Thoi almost made another immediate impact following his stunning goal against Odisha FC. His sublime through ball released Chhikara, who blazed his effort over the bar. Beyond that opening, however, Thoi struggled to influence the game from the left flank.
Aritra Das – 5/10
Das replaced the injured Hussain at half-time as Inter Kashi showed some improvement after the break. However, he failed to stay with his man in the move that led to East Bengal’s fifth goal.
Sreekuttan VS – 5/10
Sreekuttan replaced Passi around the hour mark and brought some energy to Inter Kashi’s attack. He made darting runs into the channels and looked to deliver crosses, but his efforts yielded little.
Gursimrat Gill – 5/10
Gill replaced the injured Chandan but failed to track Lukas Zwolinski’s run as East Bengal added their fifth goal to complete the rout.
Manvir Singh – 5/10
Introduced for Chhikara in the 81st minute, Manvir had little time to make a meaningful contribution.
East Bengal Player Ratings

Prabhsukhan Singh Gill – 7/10
Gill had a quiet night but handled it cleanly. He made comfortable saves against Ayush Chhikara and Laldinliana and kept his area calm.
He would have kept another clean sheet but he have to blame the defensive structure in front of him than to himself, as LalchungNunga was a bit sloppy today and conceded an own goal.
Hardik Bhatt – 7.5/10
Hardik Bhatt was solid at the right-back today. Made some crucial overlapping runs as well.
He had a quite good outing today and was involved in the build ups as well.
Anwar Ali – 7.5/10
Anwar organised the back line and gave Inter Kashi little to work with.
He showed the intent to get involved, showed pace and helped to maintain the basic structure, but at times struggled to keep his shape as there was lack of support from his fellow teammates in the defence line, mainly from Lalchungnunga. Thus East Bengal was punished once from an all-Indian studded Inter Kashi side.
Lalchungnunga – 6/10
He conceded one own goal, the only goal for Inter Kashi in the match. He tried his best and was good in patches. His partnership with Anwar was not in sublime form but was enough to keep Inter Kashi attack on hold.
But at times he was sloppy in the back line and Intere Kashi made few attacks in the second half.
Jay Gupta – 7/10
Jay Gupta was functional in attack and disciplined as well. He kept the flanks under control and often kept possession, contributing to the team’s overall structure.
Jay also had a decent outing and was also involved in creating few attacks but keeping in mind the workload management Habas substituted him with Sandip Mandi.
Mohammed Rashid – 6.5/10
Rashid showcased his range of passing and ability to progress the ball, including the pass that set up Vishnu’s goal. He also tried his luck with a long-range effort.
However, his performance was not entirely flawless, as he was involved in a heated off-the-ball altercation with Inter Kashi’s Jitendra Singh and escaped with a yellow card rather than a red. Rashid looked slightly off-colour on the pitch and was substituted by Jeakson Singh in the second half.
Daniel Ramirez Fernandez – 8/10
Ramirez again scored the opening goal for the Torchbearers within the first quarter of the game, which set the tone for the match. He got a beautiful ball from Loba and controlled the ball really well before chipping it off over the head of Albino Gomes into the goal.
His one attempt hit the crossbar as well in the first half and later on created few chances and was substituted in the second half once the result was safe. He faded after the early impact, but the game state meant he didn’t need to do more.
Rohit Kumar – 7/10
Rohit Kumar, like the other Red and Gold Brigade players, had a wonderful game. He controlled the ball well in midfield and contributed both defensively and offensively, linking up with the likes of Ramírez, Rashid, Loba and Jeakson to help build attacks.
This was arguably one of his best performances in an East Bengal shirt so far.
PV Vishnu – 8/10
PV Vishnu was brilliant throughout the game. He brought energy to the attack and tested the opposition goalkeeper with several shots inside the box. His creativity and sheer pace on the flanks were a sight to behold.
He also scored a beautiful goal following a move involving the Rashid–Ramírez–Loba trio.
Bipin Singh – 9/10
Bipin Singh was brilliant throughout the game, using his pace and quality on the flanks to create attacking opportunities for East Bengal. He played a key role in the build-up and delivered a beautifully curled ball for Loba’s goal. His movement, creativity and ability to stretch the opposition defence made him a constant threat on the wings.
He picked up where he had left off in the previous game. However, he was substituted by Chris Ikonomidis early in the second half.
Aké Arnaud Loba – 9/10

Aké Loba started the game today for the Red and Gold Brigade and was sublime as a central forward. He was involved in creating all the goals. He was one of the standout players for East Bengal on the field today.
He had also scored two goals one from a penalty won by Ramirez and another from a beautiful curling ball from Bipin Singh from the right wing. He scored his second goal with a beautiful header and Albino Gomes had no chance to save that ball and after that Aké Loba celebrated his goal with his iconic panther celebration as well.
Later on he was substituted by Lukasz Zwolinski in the second half.
Substitutes
Chris Ikonomidis – 7/10
He came on as a substitute for Bipin Singh and made an immediate impact in attack, creating chances from the flanks. He showcased his quality and pace on the wings, causing problems for the opposition defence.
He also provided an assist in the 81st minute, setting up Polish forward Zwoliński to score his debut ISL goal in East Bengal colours.
Jeakson Singh – 7/10
He disrupted Inter Kashi’s transitions and helped East Bengal gain control of the midfield in the second half after coming on as a substitute for Rashid. Wearing the captain’s armband, he led from the front and carried out his responsibilities effectively.
His contribution was largely about the unglamorous work of screening the defence and breaking up opposition attacks, which was exactly what the game demanded.
Lukasz Zwolinski – 7/10
Lukasz Zwoliński came on as a substitute for Ramírez in the second half and made an immediate impact. He pressed aggressively, created space in midfield and made a few brilliant runs to trouble the Inter Kashi defence.
Although a few of his attempts were thwarted by the opposition, the Polish forward eventually scored his debut ISL goal for East Bengal in the 81st minute, finishing off a well-measured assist from Australian forward Chris Ikonomidis. His goal capped off an impressive performance and helped seal East Bengal’s emphatic 5–1 victory.
Sandip Mandi – N/R
He came on as a substitute for Jay Gupta late in the game. There was too little time to judge and make a meaningful assessment.
David Lalhansanga – N/R
Introduced late after Ramirez’s knock. There was too little time to judge and make a meaningful assessment.
