ISL 2026-27: Phase 1 fixtures list of Kerala Blasters FC

Kerala Blasters start their ISL 2026-27 campaign against Inter Kashi on October 11.

The Phase 1 fixtures of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2026-27 are finally out after months of anticipation, and the Indian football calendar is all geared up for yet another full-swing season, kicking off from the 10th October 2026.

Fans can now start locking their dates, planning the home and away match days as the Indian Super League is all set to return to its traditional double round-robin, home-away format.

Kerala Blasters FC’s ISL 2026-27 journey starts with the away match against Inter Kashi FC on the 11th of October, just a day after the commencement of the league. While there were speculations that Kerala Blasters might shift their base to Malappuram or Kozhikode for the upcoming season, it has been officially confirmed that all the home matches will be held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kochi.

Double round-robin format marks a return

The ISL 2026-27 season will witness the comeback of the traditional double round-robin system in a home-away format, which was scrapped last year citing the uncertainties. The league has adopted the playoff system, and the top six teams at the end of the group stage fixtures will proceed to the playoffs.

The team that finishes at the top of the table at the conclusion of the group stage fixtures will be termed the ISL Shield Winners, and the winners of the finals will be declared the Champions of ISL 2026-27.

For Kerala Blasters FC, a packed phase one of the 2026-27 ISL awaits them. From October 11th 2026, to January 16 2027, the Blasters are scheduled to play 12 matches, out of which five will be played at home and seven away. In October, the Tuskers will play four matches, followed by an eased November, where they will play just one game. After playing four matches in December, Blasters will face three more teams in January, bringing a close to their Phase 1 fixtures.

The campaign for the Blasters begins on the 11th of October against Inter Kashi, away from home. On the 18th, the team will travel to Guwahati to face NorthEast United FC, before returning home on the 25th to play their first home game of the season against Mumbai City FC. For their final match of the month, they will face Chennaiyin FC in Chennai on the 31st.

In November, Blasters will play just one match, against FC Goa, at the Fatorda Stadium due to the scheduled FIFA International Window break.

In December, the Tuskers play three back-to-back home games on the 6th, 10th and 14th against Churchill Brothers, Sporting Delhi and Punjab FC respectively. Following this, the team will travel to Bhubaneswar to face Odisha FC on the 20th of December for their final game of 2026.

The 2027 fixtures for the Blasters start with a bang, as they will face Bengaluru FC on the 3rd of January for the highly anticipated southern derby clash. On the 10th, they will face Mohun Bagan Super Giants at the VYBK before ending their Phase 1 fixtures with the match against the reigning ISL champions, East Bengal FC.

As Kerala Blasters step onto the field under their new management, consistency and discipline will be crucial to shaping their fortunes and hopefully lifting their first ever silverware.
