Odisha FC started their campaign with a 1-2 loss to Punjab FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi. The Kalinga Warriors faced Inter Kashi last weekend and had to settle to a 1-1 draw to win their first point of the season.

T. Purushothaman’s side have dropped points in both games having conceded late goals and will be looking to finish strongly against an ardent NorthEast United side.

NorthEast United FC

NorthEast United take on Odisha FC away from home.

The Highlanders have picked up two wins from their opening two games in the ISL 2026-27 season and occupy the top spot in the points table. A 1-0 win against Mohun Bagan and a 4-1 win against the Kerala Blasters have given a significant morale boost to the NEUFC camp.

Juan Pedro Benali’s side will go up against Odisha FC as the favourites on paper, but historically the Kalinga Stadium has not been a happy hunting ground for them.

Team News

Odisha FC and NorthEast United FC don’t have any big injury concerns amongst their ranks going into this matchup at the Kalinga Stadium.
