ISL 2026-27: Punjab FC fixtures for Phase 1
The Shers will kick off their ISL season on 14th October.
The 13th season of the Indian Super League (ISL), India’s premier club football competition is back with its thirteenth season, with a chance for many teams to build on their progress and correct mistakes from the previous campaigns. The schedule for the first phase of the League is finally out.
Among them is Punjab FC, which has had a steady rise in Indian Football. After being promoted to the ISL in the 2023-24 season, the club finished in an impressive 6th position last season. They also made it to the semi-finals of the Super Cup.
Now under a new head coach, and the third Greek manager in a row, Pavlos Dermitzakis, the club will aim to make it to the knockout stage and finish as high as possible in the league.
After a tumultuous year for AIFF and the league, the ISL is back to its older format, with 13 teams playing each other home and away, followed by the playoffs. The League has now moved to a club-led model, with clubs holding the league’s commercial rights after having paid a participation fee to fund the league’s operations.
What do Punjab FC’s fixtures for first months of 2026-27 ISL look like?

Punjab FC will face Odisha FC for their ISL 2026/27 opener on October 14th at the JLN Stadium in New Delhi, a home fixture for the club. Yet again, Punjab will have the stadium for their home games, as they will share it with SC Delhi.
They will host Mumbai City FC there on 19th October before flying to Goa to play Churchill Brothers on the 25th of the same month. This begins a tough seven-match consecutive away run for the Shers.
A tough test awaits them on 31st October as they take on two-time ISL champions Mohun Bagan at the Salt Lake Stadium. This is followed by matches against Chennaiyin on 21st November after the international break, NorthEast United on 30th November, East Bengal on 4th December, Kerala Blasters on 14th December, and Bengaluru FC on 22nd December.
The Shers finish the first phase of fixtures with three matches at the JLN Stadium in New Delhi – against Inter Kashi on January 7th, SC Delhi on January 10th, and FC Goa on January 15th.
