ISL 2026-27: Sporting Club Delhi fixtures for Phase 1
SC Delhi face Bengaluru FC in their opening fixture.
The Indian Super League (ISL) 2026-27 season is set to bring a new challenge for SC Delhi, who will enter their second campaign in India’s top division.
The club endured a difficult debut season in 2025-26, finishing 12th with two wins, five draws and six defeats from 13 matches. However, SC Delhi have since rebuilt their squad and enjoyed an encouraging run in the 2026 Durand Cup, reaching all the way to the semi-finals.
SC Delhi will begin its 2026-27 ISL campaign on October 10 against Bengaluru FC in Bengaluru. The club is looking to translate their improved performances in the Durand Cup into the league season.
The longer campaign will also allow head coach Tomasz Tchórz to make use of the greater depth added during the summer transfer window.
Double leg Home-Away format

The ISL 2026-27 season will be played in a double-leg home-and-away format, with every club facing each opponent twice during the league stage.
The expanded schedule will provide SC Delhi with a much longer test compared to their 13-game campaign last season and will place greater importance on consistency across the season.
SC Delhi head into the ISL campaign with positive momentum after reaching the semi-finals of the 2026 Durand Cup. The club topped Group C after recording three wins and then defeated FC Raengdai 5-1 in the quarter-finals.
Their run eventually ended against East Bengal in the semi-final, with the match finishing 0-0 before SC Delhi were beaten on penalties. The tournament also saw the club score heavily, including 7-0 and 7-1 victories in the group stage.

The Delhi-based club have made several additions to their squad ahead of the new ISL campaign. Among the notable arrivals are India U-23 captain Lalrinliana Hnamte, Brazilian forward Rodriguinho, Burundian midfielder David Richard Ndayishimiye, Colombian defender Duván Viáfara, Colombian attacking midfielder Juan Pena and Nigerian defender Nduka Junior.
SC Delhi have added many young Indian players, including Diamond Singh, while three other young signings such as Irengbam Newtan, Kamgouhao Doungel and Ringsangmi Lungharwo have been loaned out. The club’s recruitment has given Tchórz more options across the pitch.
Their foreign contingent now includes five players, those being: Rodriguinho, Ndayishimiye, Viáfara, Pena and Nduka Junior, with each offering a different profile in attack, midfield or defence.
At the same time, the arrival of Hnamte and the retention of players such as Mohammed Aimen, Mohammed Azhar, Nora Fernandes, Gogou, Joseph Sunny and Ashutosh Mehta have added to the squad’s depth.
With the ISL moving into a double-leg format, SC Delhi will have to manage a considerably larger number of fixtures than they did last season. Their Durand Cup campaign has provided an encouraging early indication, but maintaining that level across a full league campaign will be the bigger challenge.
