The Spaniard has completed the paperwork for his contract with FC Goa just a few hours ago, which is a one-year deal that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2026-27 season.

Christian Isabel also known as Chiki becomes the latest recruitment for the Gaurs. Chiki started his journey with CD Leganes U-19 team in Spain before progressing ahead and playing for CD Leganes B and continuing his growth.

After moving away from Leganes, the centre forward joined CF Rayo Majadahonda and later went to represent clubs like Sporting Atletico, Racing Ferrol, AD Alcorcon, FC Cartagena highlighting his ability to adapt. The Spaniard also played for UE Cornella where he saw a good growth which is now owned by the Argentine star Lionel Messi.

Christian ‘Chiki’ Isabel won’t be a stranger at FC Goa as the centre forward will now once again reunite with FC Goa’s new centre back Alex Zalaya.

Zalaya and Chiki have played 57 games together across two Spanish clubs, UE Cornella and Sporting Atletico. This can be key for FC Goa as both of the players won’t take much time to build the chemistry.

Before signing his contract with FC Goa, the 29-year-old centre forward was representing FC Cartagena in the Primera Federacion- Grupo II, the third tier of Spanish club football. This will be Chiki’s first move outside Spain as he now gears up to play in India
