Bengaluru FC complete squad for ISL 2026-27 season
Pep Munozโs Blues to kick off ISL opener at home against SC Delhi
The 2026-27 Indian Super League season is set to commence at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru where home team Bengaluru FC are set to take on SC Delhi in the ISL opener.
The Blues finished fourth last season and fell short of three points despite finishing the season strongly with wins over Jamshedpur FC and Chennaiyin FC. The Blues witnessed a series of changes last season, with Gerard Zaragoza replaced by Renedy Singh before Pep Munoz eventually took charge in March.
Munoz is an experienced gaffer who has even served as the assistant gaffer for FC Barcelona reserves. Their foreign contingent looks brand new with the arrival of several veteran players.
To bolster the defence after Bheke parted ways, they roped in Dutch defender Menno Koch and Portuguese defender Sandro Embalo from PSBS Biak. Mihailo Perovic from Montenegro will lead the attack, whereas Borja Martinez from AD Alcorcon will be on the wings.
The Blues will play the first two games at home against SC Delhi and Chennaiyin FC before heading to Guwahati to take on the Highlanders in their first away game of the season.
