Jerry broke into the ISL back in 2016 with Chennaiyin FC, where he made an instant impact. He even scored a brilliant free-kick against FC Goa in his debut season, a strike that fans still remember. That year, he won the ISL Emerging Player of the Season award, marking himself as one of India’s brightest young defenders.

He also had a short but valuable loan spell at DSK Shivajians in the I-League, where he picked up the Best Emerging Player award. His most memorable moment came in 2017–18, when he helped Chennaiyin FC lift the ISL trophy. Jerry Lalrinzuala joined Odisha FC in 2023 and since then he was a regular face in the left-back position.

Over the years, Jerry has added consistency to his game. In the 2024–25 season with Odisha FC, he made 19 appearances, completed 287 passes, won 31 tackles, and created six chances. While he isn’t a regular on the scoresheet, his defensive stability and ability to recover quickly make him a dependable figure at the back.

Lalrinzuala’s sharp movement and influence in build-up play give him an extra edge, making him a reliable option both in defence and attack.
