FC Goa vs Sporting Club Delhi: All time head-to-head records
FC Goa have the upper hand in the head-to-head records
The Indian Super League season is already heading into its third matchweek, and FC Goa are all set to welcome Sporting Club Delhi to the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda on Wednesday, October 28th 2026. The match is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 PM IST. While Goa will look to build their momentum after beginning their league campaign with a draw, Delhi will be eager to secure their first points of the season after losing their opening two matches consecutively.
FC Goa began their 2026-27 ISL campaign with a 1-1 draw against Chennaiyin FC at Fatorda. After falling behind to Irfan Yadwad’s second-half goal, Goa responded through Chiki’s 75th-minute header to rescue a point. Although the result kept them from making a winning start, the comeback proved their ability to respond under pressure.
FC Goa have also had a demanding run of fixtures outside the league, competing in the AFC Challenge League. Those matches have offered further tests for Gourmangi SIngh’s side, but the Gaurs will now turn their attention back to domestic competition. With a home fixture against Delhi coming up, they will look to improve their efficiency in the final third and convert their opportunities into three points.
Sporting Club Delhi had a difficult start to their ISL campaign, losing 3-2 to Bengaluru FC in their season opener as well as suffering a 2-1 defeat to Mohun Bagan Super Giant. Despite scoring in both matches, the Pheonixes have been unable to turn their attacking contributions into points.
Their ability to find the net provides some encouragement, but defensive organisation will be equally important against a side that has historically enjoyed success in this fixture. A positive result at Fatorda could provide a much-needed lift as the club continues to build itself under their new identity.

FC Goa have held the upper hand in this fixture overall, winning seven of the 13 recorded meetings between the clubs. Sporting Club Delhi, who were previously playing as Hyderabad FC, have registered three victories, while the other three matches ended in draws.
However, the history of this fixture has not always favoured Goa, as Hyderabad FC had a particularly strong run against the Gaurs between 2022 and early 2023, winning three consecutive league meetings, which included a 3-2 victory in February 2022, a 1-0 win in October 2022 and a 3-1 triumph in January 2023. During that period, Hyderabad demonstrated that they could trouble Goa despite the Gaurs’ reputation as one of the established sides in Indian football.
The balance shifted in Goa’s favour in 2024. The Gaurs recorded a 2-0 away win in February before getting a 4-0 victory at home in April. That was followed by another 2-0 win away from home in December, establishing a run of three consecutive victories without conceding against their opponents.
The January 2025 meeting ended in a 1-1 draw, but Goa returned to winning ways in February 2026 with a narrow 1-0 victory. That result further strengthened their overall advantage and continued a recent run in which Delhi have struggled to find a way past the Gaurs.
