This win also renders Salt Lake stadium as the venue for the ISL final. Earlier it was announced that the final will be played at the home turf of the higher-ranked team in the league amongst the finalists.
With Mohun Bagan defeating Mumbai City FC in the final game of the regular season, and finishing top of the table, their participation in the finals makes Salt Lake the confirmed venue for the finale.
