Zaragoza said, “Sunil Chettri pushes the limit of every single player and person in this team. He is a legendary icon. The way he trains even now after retiring is a beacon of inspiration for all of us. He is a bit shy to accept praises. But I keep telling him, Go enjoy. You’ve earned this respect for the kind of legacy you’ve left behind in these 20 years.”

Zaragoza admires Chhetri’s determination to restore Bengaluru FC to their former glory. Since their last Indian Super League title in 2018, the club has been striving to break their silverware drought, and Chhetri is on a mission to secure the elusive ISL Shield.
