The Red Miners’ faithful, Pronay Halder, has been one of the most indispensable players in Jamshedpur FC’s history. Hardly have we ever seen another player on loan making everyone in the club fall in love with his performance. He played an integral role in helping Jamshedpur FC win the ISL Shield in the 2020-21 season.

After he returned back to Mohun Bagan, Jamshedpur FC started missing his presence in the midfield, so the Red Miners had to bring back Halder to fix their problems. He may have been injured for months, but he has never failed to step up for the team when it matters the most.

9. Jordan Murray

The Australian striker was signed by Jamshedpur to play as a substitute for Nerijus Valskis, who was coming after clinching the Golden Boot in ISL. But Murray’s performance was far more extraordinary to secure him a spot in the playing 11. He was a live wire for Jamshedpur in their Shield-winning campaign.

Murray reunited with his former team again this season, and his presence injected a different level of enthusiasm and energy into the squad. From scoring those volleys to netting the winners, he has emerged as a local fan favourite in the Steel City.

8. TP Rehenesh

Another player from the iconic Shield-winning campaign of Jamshedpur FC, Rehenesh TP, had big boots to fill after the departure of Subrata Paul. The Malayali custodian from Kozhikode stood up to the expectations of Owen Coyle and delivered a fantastic performance between the sticks for the Red Miners.

In his second season with the Red Miners, he was fortunate to clinch the ISL Shield. After a series of turmoil, Rehenesh bid adieu to the Steel City to join the Islanders last season.

Such has been the performance of Javier Hernandez for the Red Miners this season. The captain of Jamshedpur FC led his team from the front to help them secure a spot in the ISL semi-finals and Kalinga Super Cup finals.

One of the most decorated foreign players in ISL history has time and again proved his brilliance in the field. Javi has been ageing like a fine wine, and he would be looking forward to yet another successful season ahead with the Red Miners.

After accumulating vast experience in reputed clubs like Plymouth Argyle and Sunderland, he took a flight to India to lead the Red Miners. Though his discipline and short temper cost the team a few times, it made the team adopt a fearless brand of football and played a crucial role in winning the ISL Shield 2021-22.
