Jose Molina will not have the services of Subhasish Bose and Alberto Rodriguez.

Mohun Bagan will look to maintain their impressive form in the Indian Super League (ISL) when they face off against NorthEast United on Sunday (8 December).

The Mariners will face a hungry Highlanders side at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, Guwahati and are wary of their opponent’s attacking threat.

NorthEast United possesses one of the most clinical forward lines in the entire division, spearheaded which is their inspired winger Alaaeddine Ajaraie. He has scored 11 goals so far this season and is dominating the goal-scoring charts in the campaign, making him a major threat for any ISL side right now.

Jose Molina, however, insists that his side won’t be any special plan to neutralize Ajaraie’s threat in particular. He stated: “For me, it’s always the same. Every coach manages his team his way, but I never have any special plan for any particular individual against an opposition team. We never play against one player, we play against a team and we must be ready to compete against an entire team.

“NorthEast have some key players or some players who can make a bigger difference than the other ones, but I never have a special plan for any one player in the opponent team. My only plan is to win against NorthEast and it’s not the same plan as we had against Chennaiyin as they are different teams and they won’t do the same things.

“Some things might be the same, but some things will be a bit different as we’ll play against NorthEast, a team who recover the ball and run, make long passes to go towards your goal as quickly as possible to finish chances. We must be ready to avoid those things,” Jose Molina also added.

Ajaraie will be especially hungry to score against Jose Molina’s Mohun Bagan and win his side the match after coming up short against East Bengal in the last match. The Mariners, who have four clean sheets in their last five ISL games, will have to produce something special to shut out the Highlanders frontline and get a big win in Guwahati.
