Kerala Blasters FC vs Punjab FC: All time head-to-head record

Kerala Blasters FC have never won against Punjab FC at home
Kerala Blasters FC will lock horns against Punjab FC on Saturday, 21st of March, 2026, as the Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-26 action returns to the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kochi. The match is scheduled to take place at 7:30 PM IST as both teams eye a win at Kochi.
Blasters, after a last-minute draw against East Bengal FC, have secured their first point of the season and will be motivated to score back-to-back points in consecutive encounters, while Punjab FC, after dropping points in their last encounter against FC Goa, will be looking forward to fetching all three points.
Whenever the Blasters and the Sher’s have locked horns against each other, it has always produced some high-octane moments and delivered nothing less than delight for the fans.
With four appearances over the last two years, the encounter between the Tuskers and Sher’s has never been one-sided. With both teams winning two matches each and having no draws in this fixture, there are no favourites when Blasters and Punjab come head-to-head.
Here is a detailed record of the all-time head-to-head record of Kerala Blasters FC vs Punjab FC.
What to expect from the clash?

The first-time Kerala Blasters FC faced Punjab FC was in the 2023/24 season, the year in which Punjab were promoted to the ISL from the I-League (presently Indian Football League). Their maiden encounter took place at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Delhi. After a nervy battle, it was the visiting side that had the final laugh, with Dimitrios Diamantakos scoring the winning goal by seamlessly converting the penalty in the 51st minute of the game.
In the reverse fixture at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kochi, the home fans were silenced by the Sher’s who displayed nothing more than sheer dominance. Milos Drincic broke the deadlock for the match, providing Blasters with the early advantage in the game. However, this advantage was quickly neutralised by Wilmar Jordan, who scored the equaliser in just three minutes. In the 61st minute, Wilmar yet again found the back of the net, and the 88th minute saw Luka Macjen convert a penalty to put the game to bed 3-1.
In the 2024/25 season, Kerala Blasters and Punjab FC arrived at Kochi for their first match of the season. After a rather uneventful 85 minutes, Punjab FC won a penalty in the 86th minute, which was converted by Luka Macjen. In the stoppage time of the match, Jesus Jiminez headed in the equaliser of the match, to erupt the Kochi crowd, silenced minutes before. However, just as everyone thought that the game was ending in a draw, Filip Mrzljak scored the late winner for Punjab FC in the dying seconds of the game, yet again providing Punjab with a win at Kochi.
In their latest encounter, arguably one of the most nail-biting matches among the four, it was the Blasters who snatched the win at the Sher’s den. Same as their encounter in 2023/24, it was a penalty goal that sealed the victory for the Blasters. Noah Sadoui made no mistake in converting the penalty in the 44th minute to score the solitary goal of the match. However, in the second half, Milos Drincic and Aiban received red cards, which meant that Blasters had to play with nine men for the vast majority of the second half. Even though Punjab went all-out attack, the Tuskers remained resilient at the back, compact as a team to secure a hard-earned three points.
