ISL side Mohun Bagan set to sign Lallianzuala Chhangte in ₹6.2+ crore move

Mumbai City captain set to join the Mariners on a three-year deal after being granted a free transfer
Mohun Bagan are set to complete one of the biggest transfers in recent Indian Super League (ISL) history by signing Mumbai City FC captain Lallianzuala Chhangte, Khel Now can reveal.
The India international has agreed a three-year contract with the Mariners after Mumbai City allowed him to leave on a free transfer despite having one year remaining on his existing deal. However, the move is still subject to a medical.
Chhangte, who recently parted ways with the agent who had represented him since his breakthrough in 2015, becomes the latest Mumbai City player to make the switch to Kolkata, following Apuia and Mehtab Singh.
Sources indicated that both Chhangte and Mumbai City mutually agreed to end their association before the move was finalised.

He followed it up by helping the club win the ISL Cup in 2023-24, finishing the season with 11 goals and seven assists.
