The Highlanders welcome the Blues to Guwahati on 30th October
The Indian Super League 2026-27 season continues with NorthEast United FC taking on Bengaluru FC in Matchweek 3 on Friday, October 30th 2026. The fixture will be played at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati, with kick-off scheduled for 7:30 PM IST.
Both sides will look to make the most of this early-season encounter as they aim to build momentum in the league.
NorthEast United have shown encouraging signs in their recent outings, combining attacking intent with the ability to remain compact against difficult opposition. Their recent results include a 4-1 victory over Kerala Blasters FC and a goalless draw against Odisha FC, while they have also recorded a 1-0 win over Mohun Bagan Super Giant during this run.
Bengaluru FC have begun their ISL campaign on a positive note, winning both of their opening league matches. The Blues defeated Sporting Club Delhi 3-2 before recording a 2-0 victory over Chennaiyin FC, giving them six points from their first two games.
Pep Muñoz’s side have demonstrated their attacking potential, scoring five goals across those two fixtures.
However, the narrow margin in their opening win also showed that there is room for improvement defensively. Bengaluru will now face a challenging away test in Guwahati, where they will look to extend their positive start and continue their strong historical record against the Highlanders.
