Another win for the Blues to make their position stronger in ISL 11.

Bengaluru FC have continued their miraculous form in the 2024-25 Indian Super league (ISL) and have secured a win against Kerala Blasters in Kochi for the first time since 2018.

The Blues go four points clear at the top of the table and have secured the bragging right against their Southern counterparts. Jorge Pereyra Diaz opened the scoring with a chip and did not hesitate one bit before celebrating in front of his former club.

The Blasters kept on pushing for an equalizer, but Gurpreet Singh Sandhu stood tall and neutralized all their chances until Jesus Jimenez scored the equalizer and brought his side back on level terms. Edgar Mendez capitalized twice on Som Kumar’s mistakes and scored a couple of goals in the second half to secure yet another win for his side.

A brief look at the points table

Bengaluru FC remain undefeated have clinched their fifth win of the season and leads the standings with 16 points. Jamshedpur FC continues to be placed at the second spot with 12 points in hand followed by Mohun Bagan who are ranked third with 10 points. Punjab FC are fourth with nine points and Chennaiyin FC have jumped up to the fifth spot. Kerala Blasters have slipped to the sixth spot following their defeat tonight.

Odisha FC continues to sit in the seventh position with as many points in hand. FC Goa are placed in eighth position while Mumbai City FC are at ninth. NorthEast United FC are now ranked tenth. Mohammedan SC are placed eleventh and Hyderabad FC sits at the eleventh position. East Bengal are still at the bottom of the table after six matches.
