ISL 2024-25: Updated Points Table, most goals, and most assists after match 36, Mumbai City FC vs Odisha FC
The Islanders came back into the game after a howler from Phurba Lachenpa.
Mumbai City FC and Odisha FC shared spoils in a jaw-dropping encounter as football returned to the City of Dreams. Odisha FC started on the front foot and kept on piling pressure on the Islanders’ backline. They eventually took the lead in the 14th minute from a strike from Roy Krishna following a horrendous mistake from Phurba Lachenpa.
The home side immediately came up with a response when skipper Lallianzuala Chhangte set up Nikolaos Karelis for an equalizer in the 23rd minute. Odisha FC were reduced to ten men following a red card Ahmed Jahouh. Both teams kept on pushing for a winner, but just couldn’t find a way past each other.

Bengaluru FC continue to lead the Indian Super League (ISL) with 16 points in hand. Jamshedpur FC are ranked second and Mohun Bagan Super Giant are ranked third with ten points. Punjab FC are placed fourth with nine points followed by NorthEast United at fifth. Chennaiyin FC continue to hold the sixth spot with eight points to their name.
Odisha FC have jumped up to the seventh position following their draw tonight. Meanwhile, Kerala Blasters are now positioned eighth with eight points in hand. Mumbai City FC are placed ninth while FC Goa are at tenth. Hyderabad FC continue to be at eleventh. Mohammedan SC and East Bengal are still at the bottom of the table after six matches.
