Punjab FC outclassed Mumbai City by three goals.

Punjab FC brought an end to Mumbai City FGC’s unbeaten run on their trip to the City of Dreams. The Shers brought their best game to the table and crushed the defending champions to pieces.

Ezequiel Vidal found the back of the net very late in the first half with a picture-perfect strike to open the scoring and put his side into the driving side heading into the break.

The visitors came out strong in the second half and doubled their lead, thanks to a clean strike from Luka Majcen from the spot. Mumbai City FC responded well and kept on piling up the pressure on Punjab FC, but just couldn’t get through. And then Mushaga Bakenga scored his much-awaited debut Indian Super League (ISL) goal and put the game to bed.
