ISL 2024-25: Points Table, Most Goals, and Most Assists after Match 6, FC Goa vs Jamshedpur FC
Late goals were a common sight as the away teams gave the hosts a run for their money.
The 11th edition of the Indian Super League (ISL) is up and running in full swing. The Indian top flight returned to action for the first time since May and is now bigger and better. This season 13 teams will go up against each other for the top honors throughout the next eight months. The caravan began with an entertainer between Mohun Bagan Super Giant and Mumbai City FC.
The Mariners took a 2-0 lead into halftime before the defending champions fought back from behind and salvaged a point. After that, Chennaiyin FC shocked everyone with the first upset of the season against Sergio Lobera’s Odisha FC before Bengaluru FC pulled off a classic 1-0 victory over a star-studded East Bengal side.
The fourth match of the season saw Punjab FC secure all three points against Kerala Blasters in the sixth minute of stoppage time in the second half. And then, defending Durand Cup champions NorthEast United handed Mohammedan SC a 0-1 defeat in their debut ISL match. The final game of the week saw Khalid Jamil’s Jamshedpur FC conquer FC Goa’s den with a 1-2 comeback win.

A brief look at the points table
After the first matchday, Chennaiyin FC sit at the top of the table with three points to their name followed by Jamshedpur FC, Punjab FC, Bengaluru FC, and NorthEast United who are all locked on three points each. Mohun Bagan find themselves in the sixth spot and are level on points with Mumbai City FC who are ranked seventh.
Hyderabad FC are yet to play a game this season. Odisha FC are ranked ninth while FC Goa are placed tenth on the table. Kerala Blasters are on the 11th spot followed by East Bengal and Mohammedan SC who are in the 12th and 13th place respectively.

5. Luka Majcen – 1 assist
