During the 2024 Ballon d’Or ceremony, AS Roma defender Mats Hummels made his public debut alongside his gorgeous new girlfriend Nicola Cavanis.

The stunning model Nicola Cavanis was seen coming with the German defender, who was dressed to impress in a black tuxedo.

As they walked the red carpet together, Hummels, 35, and the beauty ten years his junior were spotted holding hands. Nicola was beaming with her new partner and looked stunning in a pastel dress that hugged her shape.

Following multiple rumours in the German media that they were dating, it was their first public appearance together. After appearing in a Nivea commercial in 2021, Nicola, who began modelling as a teenager, became well-known in her native country.

Since then, she has worked as a brand ambassador for companies like Tchibo, MCM, Puma, New Yorker, and Victoria’s Secret.

Although she was born in Bavaria, she is an Augsburg supporter rather than a fan of Hummels‘ old team, Bayern Munich and Dortmund. After his divorce from wife Cathy Fischer in 2022, Hummels is now dating Nicola.

After seven years of marriage, they had a six-year-old son named Ludwig. When Hummels was at Borussia Dortmund in 2013, the 36-year-old, who once posed for Playboy, won Germany’s Wag of the Year award.

Hummels, a centre-back who joined AS Roma this season after leaving Borussia Dortmund last summer, has not yet started a match.

The 35-year-old centre-back has played for Dortmund for the majority of his career, but he has also switched between Dortmund and Bayern Munich.

However, the German team chose to sell the defender during the most recent summer transfer window, but he is yet to become a regular starter at the Serie A club, with only one appearance so far for the side.
