The Shers have won all three of their games so far this season.

Punjab FC have had the perfect start to their 2024-25 Indian Super League (ISL) season, as the Shers have won all three of their opening games, and have a perfect record in the league so far.

Panagiotis Dilmperis and his men have been quick to make an impression across the league, by defeating favorites like Kerala Blasters as well as Odisha FC.

Their next outing howsoever, will be their toughest challenge so far this season, as Punjab FC will take on a star-studded Bengaluru FC, who themselves are formidable this season, and have a perfect record in the league so far.

Panagiotis Dilmperis thoughts

Talking about the fixture, Panagiotis Dilmperis said that he sees this game as another normal game, and his team are approaching it with utmost seriousness. “For us, it’s a regular away game against a good team with a good coach, a certain plan and good players.”

Furthermore, Panagiotis Dilmperis opened up about his team’s performances so far this season and was utmost modest about the results they’ve been piling up. “Until today, all these things (our tactics) have worked perfectly. We have three wins. Let’s hope that it will work perfectly well tomorrow again. I’m super satisfied with my coaching staff, all of them, not only my coaches or even the medical time.”

Also, adding to his team’s preparation for the game on Friday, Panagiotis Dilmperis said, “Our preparation for this game started on 6th of October. From the first session, we are focused on this. And even the friendly game that we did a week ago had certain topics. How we will adjust ourselves to the demands of tomorrow’s game.”

With the dawn setting on a major matchup in the Kanteerava, the ISL is well and truly back with a top-of-the-table clash between two of the most in-form teams in the league this season.

The tactical battle between Bengaluru and Punjab will be something to watch out for, and we can all expect Friday’s showdown to be a feisty game of football.
